My (Abridged) Paramount+ Story
I was the first intern on the Editorial Team at Paramount+ in 2021 (meaning we were ALL clueless in the BEST way). I started off re-writing press releases to optimize them for the Paramount+ platform.
My big internship project was to create an Asana calendar to keep track of all content going out on YouTube Community and Shorts. So create it I did! I went on to schedule, write, copyedit, and source images/gifs for posts, galleries, polls, and quizzes, as well as assign these tasks out to various members of the team based on their purview and interests. I was also tasked with strategically selecting episodic clips for specific titles, and scripting original videos to celebrate holidays.
After graduating from Lafayette College in 2022, I was hired for a full-time position on the P+ Editorial Team (a DREAM come true). I continued to develop a robust YouTube Community and Shorts publishing strategy, working collaboratively with my team to decipher what works best for each of their title needs. This individual attention and optimization assisted with hitting one million subscribers and reaching unprecedented channel metrics, such as triple digit percentage increases throughout Community and Shorts performance.
My responsibilities expanded through 2023 as I started leading YouTube creative strategy for Kids & Family titles as part of a three-person DREAM TEAM, bringing collaboration to a new level! Brainstorming ideas, providing feedback/quality control on drafts, finalizing metadata, and proposing an optimized posting cadence for all pieces became another part of my day-to-day.
Towards the end of 2023, I further expanded my purview to manage scheduling and publishing for all Paramount+ Social, including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok. These new responsibilities have allowed me to begin unifying all of the Paramount+ Brand handles, creating a cohesive cadence that allows each platform to shine in their unique ways.
In January of 2024, I was officially promoted to Audience Development Manager, Brand, solidifying the above responsibilities, adding performance analytics and multicultural and growth campaigns aspect to my day-to-day that assists in creating even more successful and meaningful cross-platform campaigns.
Beyond the Title
When I clock out, I have been a martial artist for almost 20 years, earning several black belts in Kempo Karate and Muay Thai Kickboxing! I am currently taking on a new beast as a budding blue belt in Brazilian Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. I am also skilled in Kali (think Deadpool or Leonardo from TMNT, only not as cool).
While at Lafayette College studying English and Film, she joined a Latin dance troupe where she performed Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cha-Cha-Cha routines, all of which she still loves practicing at weddings!
When the music plays, I'm a Latin dancer, and my feet somehow remember how to Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha, and Merengue. I performed with my college Salsa club, but do not ask me to remember any of my routines. Those left my brain the minute I took my final bow, but I do still freestyle at weddings!
When Sunday arrives, I'm baking gluten- and dairy-free chocolate-y desserts with metal music blaring in the background before settling in with said dessert to watch YouTube and play video games.
